Loans to Russian farmers rise 18.6% to 132 bln rbl as of Mar 1
MOSCOW, Mar 6 (PRIME) -- Russian banks increased lending to the agricultural producers for the seasonal field works by 18.6% on the year to about 131.9 billion rubles as of March 1, the Agriculture Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
Russian Agricultural Bank issued 72 billion rubles worth of loans, while Sberbank provided 59.9 billion rubles of loans.
